The short answer

Sugar Defender, Sugar Reset and Olivaro print the same Supplement Facts: 0.7 mcg of chromium plus a 200 mg blend of 22 ingredients, listed in the same order. The prices for 3 and 6 bottles are the same too. The real difference is the bottle: Sugar Defender and Sugar Reset hold 60 ml, Olivaro holds 30 ml, so Olivaro costs about twice as much per ml.

Read this first if you have diabetes

None of these products is a treatment for diabetes, and the FDA says no dietary supplement treats or cures it. Several ingredients, including chromium, gymnema and ginseng, are sold for blood sugar. If you take insulin, metformin or any other diabetes medicine, talk to your doctor before adding any of them, and do not change your medication on your own.

Drop supplements for blood sugar are sold under many names, with different stories, bottles and spokespeople. We opened the official sales page of each brand on October 15, 2026, read the Supplement Facts image each one publishes and put them side by side. We did not buy or test the products, and we only compare labels we could see on the brands’ own sites.

The blend on the Sugar Defender label lists, in this order: maca root, grape seed, guarana seed, African mango seed, eleuthero root, astragalus root, green tea leaf, gymnema leaf, coleus forskohlii root, capsicum fruit, grapefruit seed, Panax ginseng root, raspberry ketones, L glutamine, L tyrosine, L arginine, beta alanine, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, GABA, L ornithine, L tryptophan and L carnitine. Our Sugar Reset review and Olivaro review show the same list, and our Sugar Reset vs Olivaro comparison covers those two in detail.

What a 200 mg Blend of 22 Ingredients Means

The label does not say how much of each ingredient is in the blend, only the total and the order from largest to smallest. That order sets a ceiling: the ingredient in position number k can weigh at most 200 mg divided by k. Grape seed, in second place, can be at most 100 mg. L carnitine, in 22nd place, can be at most about 9 mg. Our guide on what a proprietary blend hides explains the method.

The one ingredient with a printed dose is chromium, at 0.7 mcg. Adults need 20 to 35 mcg a day, and blood sugar trials used 200 to 1,000 mcg. Our chromium for blood sugar guide covers what those trials found.

What about GlycoBalance? GlycoBalance is sold for blood sugar in the same style of dropper bottle, but its label is a different formula: a 15.47 mg blend of 21 ingredients with 7 mcg of chromium. It is not part of this comparison. Our GlycoBalance review covers it.

Price Per ml

Product 3 bottles 6 bottles Cost per ml (6 bottles)
Sugar Reset (60 ml) $207 $294 About $0.82
Sugar Defender (60 ml) $207 $294 About $0.82
Olivaro (30 ml) $207 $294 About $1.63

Prices checked on the official order pages on October 15, 2026. All three list 2 bottles for $158 plus shipping, and the 3 and 6 bottle packs ship free in the US. Sugar Defender also sells a single bottle for $79 plus shipping, the only one of the three with a one bottle option. All three advertise a 60 day guarantee.

What the Sales Pages Say

Sugar Defender. The sales page says each drop contains “8 carefully selected ingredients,” while the label lists 22 in the blend plus chromium. The page credits a “Tom Green” as the creator. A CBS8 Verify report said it could not find credible information about him or about the company it names, and found testimonial photos that also appear elsewhere. The Better Business Bureau profile for Sugar Defender shows a “Pattern of Complaints” alert and lists “Advertising issues found by BBB” and unanswered complaints among the reasons for its rating. Our Sugar Defender review covers its refund policy and complaints in detail.

Sugar Reset and Olivaro. Both lean on diabetes language that the products cannot back up, as our reviews explain.

Which One, If Any

If you want the 200 mg formula, there is no label reason to pay more for one name than another. Sugar Reset and Sugar Defender give you 60 ml for the price Olivaro charges for 30 ml. Sugar Defender is the only one with a single bottle at $79, which lowers the cost of trying it, but its marketing is the one that drew a news investigation and a BBB alert. We link to Sugar Reset because we have read its order and refund pages in full.

Two practical rules. Do not take two of these at once, since you would be doubling the same blend. And if your goal is chromium, a plain chromium supplement with a printed dose gives you far more than 0.7 mcg for much less money.

Ask your doctor first. They contain ingredients sold for blood sugar, including chromium, and NIH says chromium can add to the effect of insulin and other diabetes medicines.
